DATES/FLIGHT:

5 May – 15 May (9 full days of hunting) (Min: party of 2 / Max party of 4)

All flights into Fairbanks must arrive at a minimum the day prior to the scheduled hunt. All flights out of Fairbanks must depart the day after your hunt or later.

OUR TRIPS INCLUDE:

Transportation via vehicle from your hotel in Fairbanks to the boat launch.

Transportation via airboat to your drop campsite.
-
Transportation of your Bear from drop campsite @ rivers edge back to Fairbank. **No charge for any fish or additional animals harvested you want to take home*

Assistance at Alaska Air Cargo to ensure your meat and trophy gets shipped appropriately.

DROP CAMP EQUIPMENT RENTAL:

We do not supply any equipment to you “the hunter” you can bring your own drop camp gear or rent from a gear rental company.

DHO Rentals is a sister company that offers a drop camp package if interested see the DHO Rentals LLC tab on our website or email them at dhorentals@gmail.com.

If you are bringing your own gear or renting from another rental agency other than DHO Rentals LLC please keep camp weight at 125lbs or less for the entire camp.

WHAT YOU PROVIDE (NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE)

Flights to and from Fairbanks, Alaska

Out-of-state hunting license ($160), Black Bear locking tags and harvest tags ($450ea), and out-of-state fishing license ($45) ** ensure your tags are for the season you are hunting**. *prices may change depending on new regulations posted on July 1st of every year*

Drop Camp Equipment (You can bring your own equipment or rent the gear needed as stated above)

Hunting gear and sleep system (appropriate for the area) (do your research or contact us we can help you with what to bring) *Max of 70lbs for clothes and gear (one 120L dry bag and 1 empty frame pack)

Weapons/fishing gear *not included in the gear weight*

You can bring one 120-quart cooler on the boat to camp (no more than one), additional coolers can be stored at the boat launch. (Cooler with food and drinks not included in gear weight* *this is per group*

SHIPPING

Alaska Air cargo flies out of Fairbanks. They have large freezers and shipping boxes that you can purchase to ship your meat. They also have packing material needed to ship the skull and antlers to whatever taxidermist you decide. Prices depend on weight and box sizes. TAXIDERMY/BEAR SEALING:
-
All Black bears must be sealed prior to leaving the state of Alaska. You can do this yourself at the Department of fish and game or you can leave your bear's skull and hide with a taxidermist, and they can have it sealed for you.

There are many taxidermists in Fairbanks and North Pole. We recommend that you do your research and reach out to a couple of them prior to your trip.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The hunting location is on the Wood River in GMU 20A
-
You (the hunter) will be responsible for the bait stations (upkeep and filling) while in the field.

Hunting License, Harvest tag, and Fishing license can be printed from your computer. Locking tags are mailed to you, and it takes approximately 3-4 weeks to be delivered. Tags can also be picked up at the Department of Fish and Game in Fairbanks Alaska.

PAYMENT:

We require a 50% nonrefundable down payment on the date of booking.

The other 50% must be paid by May 1st of the year of your hunt

All CC payments have a 3.1% processing fee that is charged by square (this fee is added to your invoice)
