Accommodations not at camp (if you come in early and for after your hunt):

  • There are multiple camps in Prudhoe Bay the camp we recommend is the Brooks Camp. It is a new camp that is well kept and directly across from the general store. The price is good and the manager will work with us. You can find their information online at www.brookscampak.com. You cannot book online; you have to contact the manager Daniel Perkins. Coordinate pickup and drop off from the airport.

  • The recommended hotel close to the airport in Fairbanks is Sophie Station Suites if you decide to stop in Fairbanks before catching another flight out up to Prudhoe Bay or decide to drive up.

  • There is a General Store in Prudhoe Bay that carries odds and ends to include clothing, but it is pricey. If you are wanting beer or any type of alcohol while out at camp you will have to bring it in. There is no alcohol sold in Prudhoe Bay so if you don’t bring it with you won’t have any.

Shipping of meat and Mount:

  • Alaska Air cargo flies out of Prudhoe Bay. They have large freezers and shipping boxes that you can purchase to ship your meat. They also have packing material needed to ship the skull and antlers to whatever taxidermist you decide. Prices depend on weight and box sizes. To get a rough estimate of the price you can go to https://cargo.alaskaair.com/CargoRateCalculatorUI/CargoRateRequest.aspx

  • We will assist you at Alaska Air Cargo in Prudhoe Bay with shipping.

  • There are many taxadermists in Fairbanks and North Pole. We recommend you do your research and reach out to a couple of them prior to your trip if you plan on sending your mount to them. One of the questions you need to ask is if they will pick your mount up at Alaska Air Cargo in Fairbanks.

  • We require a 50% nonrefundable down payment on the date of booking.

  • The other 50% must be paid by August 1st of the year of your hunt
